Savannah's Published Website

Our website is now published! You are now able to access Savannah's website through one simple click on this link: savannahsaltt.wixsite.com/mysite
The website had 8 features which you are now able to access to learn more about Savannah and what she has to offer, including tour dates and merchandise exclusive to the website for a limited amount of time.

Creating and using your own website is an important part of promotion for a musician. I am now going to be talking about the reasons why having a website for an artist is such an important feature.

Having a website creates a sense of professionalism. The website is a place for us to keep contact information, basic information about Savannah and the type of things she has to offer. Essentially, it is a one-stop way for others to get to know Savannah, and get in contact with her team. Having a website with all of this information on it shows others that we are serious about her music.

The website will also allow us to distribute a list of upcoming shows and appearances. This along with our contact information helps turn our website into a virtual resume. This is an important tool for connecting with other musicians and professionals. Networking is a critical part of promotion, and a good virtual resume eases the process.

Savannah will be able to share her music, style, teams contact information allowing people and venues to get in touch with her for performances, increasing her popularity and image. The website has opened this opportunity up for us, it just takes sending one link (to the website) and opportunities will open up.

Another important tool is the fact that the website allows users to access all of our social media accounts, making this an easy way to spread your social media apps such as Twitter and Instagram. Having all of these links in one place helps your fans to connect with Savannah and can lead to stronger relationships.

Polaroid Practice Shots

Hey guys, so we've came up with our music video idea which is going to be including polaroid's, which means we need some serious practice with these throughout until the time of our main production. We had a first attempt just in school, we then used an app to give the images the polaroid effect, which I think worked well, especially for the first attempt. However we are still going to be exploring a variety of ways to give the effect to see which works best. This means we will be taking many more pictures in order to test what works best in order to create the best project for out A2 piece.

One Page Pitch Video

This is our One Page Pitch, where we have presented the ideas we came up with to our Media teacher 'Record company manager'  and faced many questions to see if he thought our production ideas are creative and of a good quality. By watching this you will be able to explore our ideas and get the gist of our production.

CD cover shots

Ok guys so we have been practicing shooting some CD cover shots, which we will then by photo shopping so we can get the real gist of what it entails to create a good CD cover. All the shots we took were on the same background, however they are all different poses, which was purposely done to represent different genres, and show how different genres present their style of music with certain iconic looks and themes. The pictures are listed below, I shall let you guess which ones go with what genre, feel free to comment lol;) On one of my next posts you will be able to see what we created using Photoshop, and you can see if you guessed the pictures to the genres correctly!
